  • When is quarantine care helpful?

Recognizing the need for in-home care can be challenging for family members who double as primary caregivers. Common signs indicating the need for assistance include difficulty with daily tasks, mobility issues, forgetfulness, loneliness, or daily concerns over health and physical safety.

If you are noticing one or more of these signs, please contact our Care Support Team. We specialize in Personalized Care Plan that is specifically tailored to meet your loved one's needs while providing you with invaluable support and peace of mind.

  • What type of support is provided during quarantine care?

Our Care Support Team consists of varied levels of training to best meet the varied needs of our clients. While many members of our Care Support Team have formal training as LPNs and Home Care Aides (HCAs) others have received in-house training for non-medical roles like companionship. Our Personalized Care Plan ensures caregiver qualifications are well-matched to each client’s unique needs.

Additionally, Care & Company has developed our own internal caregiver training to help fill in the gaps between technical theory and the art of providing excellent client-centred care.

Our Care Support Team is constantly learning. Throughout the calendar year, we partner with occupational therapists, RNs, physiotherapists and other community care professionals to ensure our care staff are continuously challenged and encouraged in their own professional development.

  • How do caregivers help reduce health and safety risks?

Caregivers follow established hygiene and safety practices and work within defined care routines to limit unnecessary exposure. Support is delivered thoughtfully to help protect both the client and those around them during the quarantine period.
